There are three steps to the enrolment process:

At the time of acceptance, all students pay a $500 administration charge.  This money is used to cover the cost of excursions and special activities over the course of their years at the College.  Any remaining funds from this charge will be returned to the family upon graduation of the student (minus overdue library fines and any other money owing to the College).

 

All students are expected to sit the placement test.  The test takes two hours and includes four sections: reading, writing, mathematics and general ability.  The next testing session will be held early next year, for admission into Year 7 2010.  Applicants are offered a place at the College on the basis of results in this test. The content of the test is based on primary school curriculum, rather than the kind of theoretical “I Q Testing” used by some schools.
