The Head The founding Head of Keating College is Mr Craig Keating. Mr Keating holds a Masters Degree from the University of Melbourne, as well as a Diploma in Education. He also holds qualifications in small business management from Swinburne University and in Chinese language studies from Nanjing University in China.
Mr Keating has been a teacher for over twenty-five years, working at some of Victoria’s most prestigious schools, such as Melbourne Grammar, Carey Grammar, Lauriston Girls School and The Geelong College, before becoming Principal of Christ The King Anglican College. Mr Keating has been a VCE examiner and marker and co-authored a student dictionary of Chinese for use in senior secondary classes. Born and raised in Melbourne, he lives in the suburbs of Melbourne with his wife and four daughters. Having been dux of his own school back in his student days, Mr Keating has always taken an active interest in the education of gifted and talented students. He is a member of both the Australian College of Educators and the Australian Council for Educational Leaders.
